On a Personal Note
Originally from Cheyenne, Dr. Peterson has traveled the country gaining experience and education. After serving two years as a Spanish-speaking service missionary in Connecticut, he received his undergraduate degree in psychology at Brigham Young University-Idaho in Idaho. He then completed his medical training at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Ohio, followed by a three-year residency at Detroit Medical Center in Michigan. Dr. Peterson pursued advanced training by completing a prestigious one-year fellowship at North Jersey Reconstructive Foot and Ankle in New Jersey and then practiced in Albuquerque New Mexico for four years. Dr. Peterson enjoys running, playing the piano and organ, disc golfing, and spending time with his wife and two children.
